Respect In Sport - Team Staff

In addition to observing SCRA’s Code of Conduct policy and the True Sport Principles, all SCRA members are mandated by Ringette Calgary to complete the Respect in Sport Programs to assist in empowering and equipping ALL members to consistently demonstrate respect on and off the ice.

All SCRA team staff (over age 18) must complete the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course by November 30th. Any team staff that do not have this certification by that date will be suspended by Ringette Calgary until completed.

RIS Activity Leader certification is valid for 5 years once the online course is completed. 

RIS Activity Leader certification is fully transferable to any other sports program (i.e. Calgary Minor Hockey, Calgary Minor Soccer) using the same RIS certification program. Proof of certification must be provided to update your coaching record prior to the November 30th completion deadline.
